i'm having a little reflective evening now that olivia's gone. i realized i haven't really had any alone time since it's been so hectic while she's been here! totally worth it, she is so amazing and i love her so much!! can't wait to be back at school with her and all my fwenzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
& i really miss everyone who's left already! damn my late start date... sort of...

livejournal is slowly but surely dying. i miss the days of being able to jump on and see what everyone was doing!
olivia is visiting from yakima wa and it's been fun to see her. we went bowling and i got 66! a big improvement from my days of 12s and 16s. oh goddd.
we went to popscene last night and the crowd was totally weird. like hella couples and shit. but oh well, better luck next time! the band sucked too. blehhh.

i have my first ever legitimate musical photoshoot tomorrow!
i'm shooting this guy phillip drummond, who remixes hella hip hop and throws these monthly rap battle competitions. he's bringing his rapper friends FLO and lush one. so i'm technically shooting three artists tomorrow, and i'm so stoked!!!

i'm not getting paid, of course, but i still feel really good about it. i'm bringing my hasselblad, d90, diana+, and nikonf3 film camera. i have to ride bart over so i really really hope i dont get surprise middle-of-the-day mugged. it would be losing pretty much my entire future career haha!

today my folks and i went to yoni's yard sale and bought his organ that he used on some of his albums. he's moving to ohio and wanted it off his hands. he had some sick CDs, art, and clothes as well. i feel like i gained a few staple things i had been meaning to buy at amoeba for a long time.
but coming home i heard this song again for the first time in ages! i'd never realized what they were singing about... it's pretty tight lyrics. so even though i can't relate to everything, here's to our generation's ability to rip our hearts out of our chests and move across the country.
because after all, i am again approaching that time and it's both warm and cold like san francisco summers...
